Oceanic Constructions: Queensland Building Contractor & Project Manager

Oceanic Constructions is an established Queensland Building Contractor and Project Manager based in South East Queensland with operations and residential/commercial building projects in the Moreton Bay Islands, Gladstone, Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and Western Queensland. We plan to expand into selected metropolitan and regional markets across Australia during 2010. As OC's GM, Will Grayson often says: "We've been building for over 40 years ... now that's constructive thinking!"

We trade under the name 'Oceanic Constructions Queensland' (QBSA Licence No. 41134) and are privately owned by Will Grayson's Queensland-based investment company, Hampton Investments Pty Ltd. Will is the Company's General Manager.

Brief Company Overview

Our Company has been operating for more than 40 years all over Queensland and was first established in Gladstone by Duncan Grayson in the late 1960's. We have Offices in Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast and are currently in the process of re-establishing our Gladstone Office.

Oceanic Constructions undertakes residential and commercial building construction projects and offers a range of attractively priced residential properties, house and land packages, and project-managed building refurbishments and commercial properties in several medium to high growth markets across Queensland.

We currently have a number of industrial projects and unit developments in Gladstone, valued in excess of $6 million, that are due to commence in early 2010, as well as contract projects for some repeat clients in the Gladstone area.

The following list outlines some of our completed Queensland projects:

• 10-15 houses per year on the larger Moreton Bay Islands (ie, Macleay, Russell and Stradbroke Islands).
• Numerous unit developments, industrial/commercial projects in Gladstone and several hundred houses in and around the Gladstone Region including Calliope, Tannum Sands, Boyne Island, Turkey Beach, Miriam Vale, Mt Larcom, South End and Gatcombe Heads on Facing Island.
• Renovations and extensions to homes, commercial refurbishment projects, medical centres in Brisbane.
• Luxury homes on the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Sunshine Coasts.
• Unit developments, child care centres and vererinary surgeries on the Sunshine Coast.
• Refurbishment of resorts at Heron, Lindeman and Dunk Islands.
• A Kingaroy dental surgery, and housing in Emerald.

To manage its expanding portfolio and its operations and business activities, Oceanic Constructions recently implemented an extensive in-house Quality Management System and Project Management discipline. We operate under the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Assurance Standard and have a fully-compliant AS/NZS 4801:2001 Safety System in place. We are also experienced with most types of Contract Delivery methods including Design & Construct, Fully Documented Lump Sum, and Construction Management.
